Lower Bocawina Falls is one of the waterfalls located along the Bocawina Loop Trail inside Mayflower Bocawina National Park, and is the easiest falls to access inside the park. The route to the falls traces a 0.5-mile hike up a gradual incline that gains about 110 feet through the hard-packed jungle path. The lower falls trickle down a 100-foot cascade into a cool pool at the base that makes for a refreshing dip in the jungle heat.

The hardest part of reaching the falls is the rough dirt double-track leading to the trailhead. The rough road lies about 5 minutes beyond the lodge inside the park, and it is clearly signed. In wet or unpassable conditions, it is also possible to walk this road. Hikers can retrace their route to the trailhead or continue farther to Upper Bocawina Falls or eventually complete a loop by following the Bocawina Trail farther. The only amenities of any kind are available at the park visitor center.
