The Cotton Tree Lodge is a lodge in the southern Belize jungle along the Moho River that offers a range of lodging and adventure tour options for guests. Opened in 2006, the Cotton Tree Lodge is a destination that has integrated itself into the southern Belize environment and communities, and it has created a unique lodge for travelers to the region to experience the area's landscape and culture.

The lodge offers any combination of their craft lodging rooms, meals prepared with ingredients picked from their own organic garden, and tours ranging from adventure to cultural experiences. Cotton Tree Lodge stands as a place that can present glimpses into southern Belize's jungle and Mayan cultural atmosphere to travelers.

Most rooms are Cabanas, private freestanding rooms with one or two beds built atop stilts, furniture and art crafted by artisans residing in nearby villages, private balconies, and bathrooms. The Garden Vista Rooms are in the three-story building set beside the lodge's organic garden. Specialty rooms are offered like the Boat Cabana and Jungle Cabana, which allow guests to stay on the water or deeper in the jungle removed from the main area.

All meals take place in the main lodge, a tall central building with a kitchen, bar, reception office, and gift shop to go along with the tables and lounge chairs that invite guests to hang out and grab a board game in their down time. Also on the grounds are a riverside yoga cabana and a spa offering a selection of treatments.

Tours offered through the lodge fall into two categories: Adventure tours such as river kayaking, hikes, cave swims, waterfall visits, and snorkeling make up one selection of options; while cultural tours like visiting Mayan ruins sites, medicinal plant and jungle survival workshops, Creole cooking, and traditional tortilla making are available.

Accessing Wi-Fi on the grounds requires renting a phone through the lodge. The lodge employs local guides and staff who know the area well. On-site amenities such as a dock great for swimming in the warm Moho River are also available. To view the full list of options available for guests, visit the Cotton Tree Lodge.
