Every now and again I get lost in one of those Instagram holes. You know, the one when you end up finding and following a ton of incredible people that you wish you could know in real life. There are literally hundreds of people who should be on this list, but here are some of my favorites I keep going back to.

I'm convinced that Alex Borsuk doesn't sleep. She and #PeanutTheAdvenurePup are always bagging peaks, running trails, and taking on just about any adventure imaginable. Her Instagram feed defines dawn patrol, badass, and shenanigans perfectly.

She climbs mountains, and she's not shy about her love of public lands. Caroline Gleich is one incredible environmental activist. She is a ski mountaineer whose feed is full of impressive views and beautiful adventures right alongside her activism efforts. Thanks for all you do Caroline, keep rocking it!

Faith Briggs is Columbia's current Director of Toughness, and I can see why. She's always up for any adventure and does it all with a smile. She can be found trail running, fly fishing, and generally adventuring across the globe.

In need of an adrenaline rush? Living vicariously through Suz Graham's Instagram feed may do just the trick. We're talking BASE jumping, wingsuit flying, skydiving and free skiing.

Lindsey Richter is a pro mountain biker who travels the world hosting mountain bike clinics for women of all skill levels. Her feed is not only motivational but entertaining as well.

Nicole Brown is the founder of @WomenWhoHike, a group created to empower women through hiking and adventure. Follow this ginger across the country through canyons to mountain tops. Her captions will keep you inspired and excited for your next adventure.

If you're into sunsets, sunrises, alpine glow and epic landscapes, Rachel Stewart's feed will not disappoint. It's easy to get lost in the dreamlike scenes that her long exposure style creates.

Meghan Young's Instagram profile states that she's "probably outside," and I'm pretty sure she always is. From mountain trips to waterfalls, her feed shows her hiking, climbing, snowshoeing off into the woods somewhere.

Brianna Madia combines #vanlife, #doglife, beautiful red canyons and a warm smile into one incredible story. Her feed is not only perfectly color coded, but the feats her dogs do with her are impressive in their own right. I bet you can't look at her feed without cracking a smile. Thanks for brightening my day, Brianna!

Erin Sullivan is all about pushing her comfort zone and setting new adventure travel goals. She travels to some pretty incredible places, making her feed easy on the eye, but her captions are where the gold is. She has a way of looking right into your heart and speaking to the depths of who you are.

And a few more groups for good measure...

This one doesn't necessarily belong to an individual, but it is certainly worth checking out. Outdoor Women's Alliance was established in 2007 as an international nonprofit media collective. You'll find inspiration from rad women around the world. #outdoorwomen

Along the same lines, though SheJumps is another great nonprofit worth following. They are committed to increasing female participation outdoors and providing opportunities around the country for adventurous women to meet and get outside.

FatGirlsHiking shares photos from the trail of diverse body types getting out on the trails. Their motto is "Trails Not Scales," and their feed comes with a lot of positive vibes. Rock on ladies!

Trail Sisters is a community of women inspiring others to lead healthy lifestyles while adventuring outdoors and protecting Earth's playground. I'm not a runner, and I don't like to run, but their feed makes me want to try trail running.

I love accounts that share the love. AndShesDopeToo is one you should definitely follow. They do an amazing job highlighing rad women in the outdoors, whether they are doing insane adventures, giving back in a meaningful way, or just generally profiling a dope woman you'd want to be friends with.
