The Bottom Line:  The North Face ALEIA 32 is a daypack designed specifically for women. This durable, lightweight, technical pack is great for climbing, hiking or use as a carry-on travel bag. This pack adjusts to comfortably fit many different body types while keeping you cool and dry on the trail. Whether going on a short non-technical day hike or an all-day summit hike, the ALEIA 32 is the perfect choice for a pack.

The North Face ALEIA 32 daypack is a versatile and lightweight pack weighing in at less than 2 pounds. For being such a lightweight pack, it is well constructed with 100D ripstop nylon for lasting durability. This ripstop fabric is sewn in a pattern designed to stop a tear from spreading or compromising the integrity of the pack. The North Face is so confident in this pack that it is backed with a lifetime guarantee, and the company promises to fix any defect in materials or workmanship free of charge for as long as you own the pack.

The ALEIA 32 is a spacious 32-liter top loading pack with a zipper that extends around the top and down one side of the pack. This deep zipper design allows for easy access to items packed into the top or bottom of the bag. Inside the main compartment of the pack is a hydration sleeve with a loop attachment point. Just above and on each side of the hydration bladder attachment point are two lash points. Also on the inside of the main compartment is a mesh zippered stash pocket. This pocket is perfect for stashing a wallet or any other small items that you will want easy access to. There is another zippered stash pocket on the top front of the pack. On the inside of this stash pocket is a key clip to keep those keys from getting lost while traveling. On the exterior of the pack there are two mesh water bottle pockets, one on each side. Pull-through compression straps run through these mesh water bottle pockets for securing your cargo. For added cargo space there is a large stretch pocket on the front of the pack secured by two clips. There are two additional zippered stash pockets located on the hip belt of the pack. These small pockets are perfect for stashing a granola bar, cell phone, or GPS tracking device. To stow away trekking poles or other tools, there are multiple attachment points hidden in the exterior design of the pack.

The foam panel suspension on this pack is incredibly comfortable. Designed with a Next Vent suspended mesh back panel and PE sheet for extra breathability and support, this pack will keep you cool and dry while staying comfortable all day long. The straps on this pack have perforated foam for increased breathability.  The shoulder harness on the back panel can be detached and moved up or down to adjust for torso length creating a customized fit.  For added safety, a whistle has been built into the chest strap of this pack. The overall design and construction of this pack makes it an exceptional choice for a day pack.
