Saturday, July 8, Outdoor Project hosted our second annual Denver Block Party with Denver Beer Company. With over 3,000 people coming to the event, we had a blast connecting with the Denver community.
Fifteen vendors attended the event and connected with the Denver community. The adventure scheming and dreaming was in full effect all day, from checking out the Denver adventure map at the Outdoor Project tent to checking out what adventures Denver Mountain Parks has to offer right within the city limits. Zeal Optics showed off their amazing Airstream Trailer, and Weston Snowboards made all of us dream of the tiny home we wish to build! Arc'teryx was helping everyone stay cool with their ice bucket knot challenge. Lems Shoes raised over $100 through their dare challenge. The Lems crew really put up with some ridiculous challenges throughout the day.
This event wouldn't be possible without our vendors. They bring the A-game, the challenges, the entertainment, and, of course, all of the amazing goodies that help you adventure! Thank you so much to the following sponsors:
Cirque Mountain Appareal, LEMS shoes, Mountainsmith, The North Face, Arc'teryx, Mountain Standard, Zeal Optics, Montbell, Colorado Sunglasses, Weston Snowboards, WeWork, The Nature Conservancy, and Centrist Project.
Thank you to our great lineup of bands for keeping the dance party going all day. KLAW kicked off the day and was followed by Hilo Walker, Modern Leisure, Tyler Imbrey, Goofball Buckets, and the evening closed with We's Us and The Guestlist's.
Proceeds from our Stanley pint cup sales went to Denver Mountain Parks Foundation along with a percentage of beer sales from Denver Beer Company, raffle ticket sales, and help from our vendors. Thank you to everyone for the support toward Denver Mountain Parks Foundation. Make sure to get in touch with the Denver Mountain Parks crew to go check out some of the bison and learn more about their work in the Denver area.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for celebrating summer with us. This event wouldn't be possible without our sponsors. We are looking forward to continuing this party across the West this summer. Look for us in Seattle, Bend, Salt Lake City, San Francisco, and L.A. this summer.
