Outdoor Project is excited to announce that our Block Party Festival series is coming to Minneapolis on Saturday, September 15, 2018, from 12 to 9 p.m. The event will be hosted at Bauhaus Brew Labs, 1315 Tyler Street Northeast. This block party festival will benefit Big City Mountaineers, a nonprofit that instills critical life skills in under-resourced youth through transformative wilderness mentoring experiences. Funds will be raised to support this incredible work through the sale of customized insulated Stanley pints, and a percentage of proceeds from beer sales will be donated by Bauhaus Brew Labs, additional vendor support, and attendee donations.

Outdoor Project’s Block Party Festival will fill your day with outdoor adventure inspiration, gear demos, giveaways, live music, games, food trucks, and beer. This event is for all ages, is open to furry friends, and is FREE!

Music lineup: 3-5 pm, Strange Hotels | 7-9 pm, Armchair Boogie

Food trucks: Gerhard's Brats and MidNord Empanadas

Follow along on Facebook for more information on music and vendors.

We look forward to celebrating adventure and community with our 2018 sponsors:

Better Takes Action

Along with supporting local nonprofits and organizations, KEEN will be on-site to share their Better Takes Action campaign and empower fans through KEEN's mobile action center. KEEN's on-site activation promotes voter registration, educates participants about causes related to the environment and our public lands, and encourages people to take action by calling their local elected officials to express their opinions.

Big City Mountaineers

In close partnership with local youth development agencies in six cities across the United States including Minneapolis, Big City Mountaineers (BCM) pairs adult mentors with teens for a week-long wilderness trip or Overnight Camp geared toward measurably improving self-esteem, responsibility, decision-making abilities, and communication skills, serving close to 1,000 youth annually.

We look forward to celebrating adventure and community with all of you!

In times like these, when our air, water, climate, and public lands are under constant attack, we’re continuing our mission of taking action with renewed gusto—with a new campaign to activate KEEN employees and our fans.

Because … Better Takes Action.

“From the inception of this campaign, we set out with a simple goal: to inspire a call to action for our fans, our community, and our employees to engage their civic voice to protect open spaces and drive positive outcomes,” says Tyler LaMotte, Chief Marketing Officer at KEEN. “As a brand dedicated to making leading products for our fans to experience life outside, the aim is that together we can take action today for a better tomorrow.”

Whether it’s helping create a better world for future generations or enjoying better adventures today with our families, the only way to make anything better is to do something about it.
