While Moab is known for its iconic Navajo sandstone terrain and British Columbia is famed among thrill-seekers for its countless downhill parks, Oregon mountain biking is best known for its rollercoaster single track. And nowhere are these relatively gentle, beginner-friendly trails more bountiful than the southern half of the state, where places like Oakridge and the Siskiyou Mountains will make you wish you had added an extra week to to your mountain biking road trip or an extra day to your weekend of riding.

As part of an endless pursuit of the best trails, the Outdoor Project community is lucky to have Heron Marychild as our Oregon mountain biking ambassador! From classic and arduous rides like Moon Point that boasts over 3,000 feet of elevation gain and big descents to hidden yet stunning alpine lakes like Timpanogas, Indigo + June Lakes, you'll agree that these trails truly make up some of the best of Southern Oregon riding.
