Islip Saddle Day Use Site is located off of the Angeles Crest Highway (CA-2), at the  junction of Highway 39, northwest of Wrightwood, Ca. It is in the middle of a stretch of CA-2 that runs through Angeles National Forest from La Canada/Flintridge to Wrightwood / Cajon Pass.  The day use area features a moderately sized parking area with picnic tables and bathrooms.

Islip Saddle is a fairly popular access point for Angeles National Forest. From the parking area visitors have access to the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) and several peak bagging opportunities such as Mount Williamson, Mout Hawkins, Mount Baden Powell, and more.

FUN FACT
