Marsh Park is a 3-acre city park located next to the Los Angeles River in the Elysian Valley neighborhood of  Los Angeles, California. It features nature themed play structures for kids, trash cans, green space, drinking fountains, benches, picnic areas, and access to the Los Angeles River Bike Path.

The park also includes restrooms, a loop trail with fitness stations, outdoor education classrooms, a parking area, and electric vehicle charging stations. The neighborhood park is a great place to spend the afternoon, enjoy a picnic, and learn about the important wildlife living within this large urban environment.

VEGETATION AND WILDLIFE

The park is planted with native marshland and upland plants which helps with underground water filtration and attracts various birds, mammals, and butterflies to visit.

LOS ANGELES RIVER

The park is located next to a 9-mile section of the Los Angeles River known as the Glendale Narrows. Instead of a concrete streambed, Glendale Narrows has a natural streambed, which provides a healthy habitat for more plants and animals.
