The Pantera Park Trail is a well maintained path that leaves Pantera Park and ascends into the adjacent hills, offering an easy 1.3 mile jaunt into town's vast tracts of green space in the area.

Beginning behind the dog park area, two trails leave and start a climb up the hillside before meeting at a flat clearing with benches set looking in several directions. Views of the San Gabriel Mountains, along with surrounding hills and freeways make up the panoramic background from this point about 175' in quick gain from the park. A quick ascent and descent from this point on the loop path would total about .75 miles, but a third spur heads north, tracing the ridge of the hill for a short way until coming to a bit of an unceremonious endpoint just before a fence marking private property beyond.

Overall, this path is very easily accessible, offers nice views, and tends to be a popular spot for dog walkers, hikers and runners owing to its quick steep elevation gains ending with rewarding peaceful views of the area.

Pantera Park has all amenities including bathrooms and drinking fountains. The trail system is open from a half hour before sunrise to a half hour after sunset.
