Peter McIntyre is a county park, however the park is operated by a private RV Park, who has an inflated fee schedule for those looking for simple day use of a county beach park.

The park contains a well-maintained and shaded lawn area overlooking the river, with a sloped sandy beach at the water's edge. Amenities in the park include large parking area, boat ramp, bathrooms, general store, tables and grills, boating fuel station, and wifi. Tent camping in the lawn areas near the water is also an option.

While the park is maintained well, the private operator suggests a $20 day use charge for visitors.

Pets are permitted on leash, however the operator's policy states "Any pet entering the Resort mush not be of a vicious breed (Pittbull, Rottwieler, Doberman & Chows)"

Open hours are listed at 8am to 4pm daily. Further information can be found by calling the private operator at (760) 922-8205. Fees can be seen here. Visitors must check in at the entrance to the RV Park.
