Susanville Ranch Park is located just outside of Susanville, California and offers an abundance of hiking and biking trails to enjoy. The sizable park (1,100 acres) offers a diverse landscape to explore. From the foothills of the Cascades here you can glimpse downtown Susanville, the Modoc Plateau and Honey Lake Valley, and the Diamond Mountains (the northern edge of the Sierra Nevadas).

There are 28 miles of lovely single track trails that criss cross through Susanville Ranch Park. These trails are ideal for hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, or cross-country skiing and snowshoeing during the winter months.

There are a few different access points to Susanville Ranch Park.

The southern end of the park is popular with those looking for a mellow hike. Two streams flow through this area and there are some easy trails that travel through the meadow.

The northern portion of the park offers more challenging terrain, more elevation change, and trails that are especially fun for mountain bikers.
