The Traylor Ranch Reserve Trail is a series of looping paths that pass through the peaceful nature and bird sanctuary in a quiet area of Penryn.

The Nature Reserve covers 90 acres, with two separate entrances and multiple dirt trails weaving throughout the quiet area. Trails are well maintained and explore a variety of areas throughout the reserve - from open space with tall branchy trees to dense foliage to grassy sections with Native American grinding rocks on display. A wide variety of birds make their home in the reserve or visit seasonally, and walking the trails is usually complimented by bird songs echoing through the air.

Maps are posted and cel service is good in the reserve. The mostly flat trails attract walkers, runners, equestrians and pedal bicyclists, though several sections are restricted to foot traffic only. Dogs and bicycles with acceleration are not permitted in the reserve.

A few areas throughout the reserve have small signs naming the tree and plant species along the trail. With multiple leisurely trail loops, the route can be explored at your own pace. There are a few secluded picnic benches located inside the reserve for those looking to sit away from the trails and take in the environment.

The trails are open from 30 minutes before sunrise to 30 minutes after sunset. There are two gravel parking areas, the eastern parking area has a picnic bench. There are no other amenities located at the Nature Reserve.
