Brentwood Bay is an ideal summer destination on Vancouver Island for a paddle. From here you can rent plenty of paddle options or throw in your own. Access is quick and easy to numerous inlets, Senanus Island, and a number of other jewels including a shipwreck and the shores of Butchart Gardens. Wildlife is plentiful, so bring your camera and/or binoculars. Also, the inlets provide protection from the waves, so expect to be greeted by calm, serene waters once you're outside of the main bay.
