Although the smallest of Sasquatch Provincial Park's campgrounds, Lakeside Campground on Deer Lake provides the most amenities, is the only campground in the park open year-round, and contends with Hicks Lake Campground for best view. Here, 42 campsites are well dispersed and provide ample privacy on the lake's western shore.

The campground features potable water, vault toilets, a boat dock and ramp, a day use picnic area, a playground, a small beach, and a short boardwalk interpretive trail that connects to Bench Campground.

With a distant view of 1,844-meter Hope Mountain, Deer Lake, along with the park's Trout Lake, are popular amongst anglers for rainbow trout, cutthroat trout and brook char. If launching a boat, note that only electric motors are permitted on Deer Lake.

Note: Lakeside Campground is open year-round, though services (e.g., potable water, vault toilets, garbage pickup) are not available during the off season, typically mid-October through mid-March. Camping is free during the winter months. Campsite reservations can only be made from mid-March through early September. Go to BC Parks - Sasquatch State Park for yearly reservation and amenity date details.
