Found nestled along the main route from the ferry into Sechelt on British Columbia's beautiful Sunshine Coast, the Roberts Creek Campground is a great location for anyone staying in the area for hiking, biking, kayaking or visiting one of the many provincial parks in the area. Four kilometers past the campground is iconic Davis Bay, where people can go to shop, eat, fish off of the wharf, or enjoy a lazy walk along the shore. This community is small, quaint, and moves at its own pace.
The campground is a popular place in the summer months, and it fills up quickly. The sites are set in a cathedral of giant Douglas fir trees, cedars and hemlocks that provide shade from the summer sun. The sites are spread out, and some offer more privacy than others. The facilities are basic but clean. There is no office or administration, but park wardens are at the site daily.
Whether this is a first stop of many along the Sunshine Coast or a last stop before heading back to the mainland, Roberts Creek is a beautiful place to stop and spend some time in BC's supernatural beauty.
