Bradfield Campground is located alongside the Dolores River, downstream of McPhee Dam. It offers inexpensive camping ($8 per night) and is especially popular during the short season that the Dolores is raftable (usually mid May to mid June).

The campsites are well spaced, but located in a rather open area. The majority of campsites have shade structures, as there aren’t many trees to be found around most of the campsites.

You’ll find that each campsite has a picnic table and fire ring. There are also 2 vault toilets and 2 hand water pumps within the campground.

Additionally, there is a day use area and boat ramp at Bradfield Campground.

All campsites are first come, first served with no reservations possible. Note that during off season (September through May) services may be limited or turned off (water, trash pick up and/or restrooms).
