BV Overlook Campground & Lodging is located near the small town of Buena Vista, Colorado. The campground offers a variety of lodging options including standard campsites, as well as tiny homes and cabins. But perhaps the best part is the incredible view from here - the stunning Collegiate Peaks stand tall in the near distance, including prominent Mount Princeton (14,204’).
BV Overlook offers a few different camping options. RVs and trailers can find sites with 50/30/30 AMP power, water, electric and septic. There are some premium pull thru sites and back in spots available. There are also a variety of tent sites available (which may also work for vehicles like campervans). Some of the tent sites even have water and electric hookups.
BV Overlook has 6 unique tiny homes available, each with kitchenette and full private bathroom inside. There are also several cabins around the campground, with one and two bedroom options available. The cabins do not have a bathroom or running water.
A yurt and glamping tent are also available. Additionally there is a hiker bunkhouse - a shared accommodation that sleeps 6. This is a great spot for hikers on the Colorado Trail who are looking for an inexpensive night’s rest.
Additionally there is a large recreation room available for everyone to use. This room contains a pool table, darts, games, and movies as well as couches to sit or relax. There is a large patio area too.
Lastly, there is a small store with snacks, supplies and clothes as well as a coffee shop. Laundry and restrooms with nice showers are also available for all campers.
