Chipeta Park is a small park located alongside Middle Boulder Creek and just a short stroll away from downtown Nederland.

To access the park from downtown, you can find the Barker Reservoir Trail that starts by crossing the creek via a cute covered pedestrian bridge. The trail then follows the creek until reaching Chipeta Park. Alternatively there is parking near the park.

Chipeta Park offers a large open grassy space to recreate or relax, and a nice covered picnic shelter. There are also a couple picnic spots scattered alongside the lovely creek.

Kids will enjoy the playground, but also should check out the fishing pond. This small pond is open to fish but only for kids under age 12.

Lastly, the Barker Reservoir Trail can be continued onward from the park and hiked all the way around the northern shores of the reservoir for an extra adventure.
