Hippie Hot Springs are a bit of a hidden gem in downtown Steamboat Springs, Colorado. These warm springs are located right along the Yampa River and are completely free and open to the public.

The springs are located at Dr. Rich Weiss Park. They are fed from runoff (via culvert) of the Old Town Hot Springs located directly across the street. While the Hippie Hot Springs might not be as nice (or as hot) as the Old Town Springs, you won’t have to pay the $29 fee for a day use pass.

Hippie Hot Springs is especially popular during the summer months with tubers who are floating the Yampa River. Please don’t trash the hot springs, be respectful of others and enjoy your visit.
