Meadows Group Campground is located about 45 miles south of Denver, near the small town of Buffalo Creek, Colorado. The campground is nestled in the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains at an elevation of 7,400ft. There are many recreational opportunities nearby including plentiful trails for hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding. The 485 mile Colorado Trail runs just a stone’s throw from camp and provides endless exploration opportunities. Nearby Buffalo Creek is also a popular fishing area for brook trout.

There are two group sites available at Meadows Group Campground. Each site can fit up to 150 campers. These large sites feature many picnic tables, bear boxes, a fire ring and plenty of space to camp. There are also vault toilets located onsite. There is no drinking water available, so bring your own.

There is a 25 vehicle limit per site. Please note that camping here is by reservation only. Reservations can be made in advance at recreation.gov. The campground is open seasonally, usually Memorial Day Weekend to Labor Day Weekend.
