Mount Rosa Loop is a long hike located in North Cheyenne Cañon Park near Colorado Springs. This hike combines two popular approaches to Mount Rosa. This loop is 13.4 miles long and gains 4,252 feet of elevation.

This hike starts from the Upper Gold Camp Parking Lot. There are portable toilets available here. Begin hiking west on Gold Camp Road. Hike on this wide and flat trail for 0.7 miles before turning right onto Seven Bridges Trail. You will be hiking uphill amongst coniferous trees. Continue on this trail for 1.4 miles. Then you will come to a junction and turn left onto 622 Trail. After 0.2 more miles, turn left again onto the Pipeline Trail. Enjoy 0.8 miles of flat hiking before heading uphill again.

After 1.8 more miles, you will reach another junction. Turn left onto Forest Service Trail 701. You will be hiking on this trail for 0.3 miles before turning left onto Nelson's Trail #672. Follow this trail for 1.3 miles before coming to a junction. Turn right onto Mount Rosa Trail #673. Follow this trail for 0.7 miles to reach the summit of Mount Rosa. From the summit, you will have great views of Penrose-Rosemont Reservoir, Pikes Peak, and various other mountain peaks.

To return to the trailhead, retrace your steps to the previous junction and turn right onto Nelson's Trail #672. Follow this trail downhill for 0.9 miles before turning right on Mount Rosa Road. After 0.1 miles, turn left onto Saint Mary's Falls Trail. Continue downhill on this trail for 3.4 miles before turning left onto Gold Camp Road. Follow Gold Camp Road downhill for 1.2 miles to return to the trailhead.

North Cheyenne Cañon Park is open 5am-9pm from November through April. It is open from 5am-10pm from May through October. Dogs are allowed on this trail, but they must be on a leash.
