Steamboat’s Old Town Hot Springs are a popular attraction located right in the downtown area. The hot springs are developed and located within the fitness center. There are several pools for soaking. An entrance fee is required which, at time of writing is $29. Although steep, the entrance fee does include access to the entire fitness facility for the day which includes a climbing wall, lap swimming pool, gym and locker rooms with showers.

The hot springs area consists of several different pools. The main spring is Heart Spring. This is the all natural hot spring with a temperature of 102-103 degrees. The water from Heart Spring eventually feeds all of the other pools, although the other pools are chlorinated.

There are two “spa” pools with jets and water temperatures that are actually a bit warmer than Heart Spring. Lastly there is the Main Hot Pool with a water temperature of around 98 degrees. This large pool is perfect for swimming and for families.
