Sultan Campground is one of 3 designated camping areas located alongside Mineral Creek, just off Highway 550 and not far from the charming small town of Silverton. Sultan is not a traditional campground, but rather a space where dispersed camping is allowed. Note that this is a popular area and can fill up quickly during the summer months.

There are a variety of campsites available at Sultan, including a few spots alongside the lovely creek. Some sites offer a bit of privacy, but for the most part expect to be in full view of your neighbors.

Campsites at Sultan can fit larger trailers and RVs, although nearby Kendall Campground is the best option for those with very large rigs.

Being a dispersed camping area all campsites are, of course, first come first served. Please observe the 14 day stay limit.

There are no amenities available at Sultan Campground.

Again, keep in mind that this is a popular area. Arriving before evening ensures a better chance of securing a campsite.
