This short lollipop loop trail is perfect for anyone looking to get out for a stroll without leaving the downtown Winter Park area. The trail is groomed during the winter months and open to any form of non motorized travel including walking, snowshoeing and skiing.

The trail begins from Hideaway Park. You’ll follow the pathway behind the amphitheater as it parallels alongside Vasquez Creek. The trail passes through some pine forest and behind an apartment building before coming to Confluence Park.

You’ll turn left and cross the footbridge into the park. The pathway then makes a short loop through the park, providing the most beautiful scenery of the trail so far.

The highlight of the park is, of course, the confluence of Vasquez Creek into the Fraser River. There is a wooden platform here perfect for fishing or just enjoying the picturesque view.

The trail then completes the loop within Confluence Park. You’ll follow the Vasquez Creek Trail and retrace your steps back to Hideaway Park to finish the hike.
