For those not looking for a longer hike, there is a parking lot near Hog Rock where you can park.

This sign greets you as you cross the parking lot to the path to Hog Rock. Pick up a flyer at the beginning of the path and read about each of the nature stops along the way.

Hog Rock is one of the more popular hikes in Catoctin National Park.

Enjoy the view once you get there. For the loop, follow the trail down the mountain on the other side.

Once you get to the bottom of the hill, follow the trail back to the visitor center. For a small detour, you can cross the road and visit Cunningham Falls. This offers a separate view from the normal one from Cunningham Falls State Park.
