Outdoor Project

The ultimate adventure guide

Headcam showing off the Helis about to drop into a line.
The deep cuff helps keep snow out.
Looking at the liner velcro being pulled back.
The liner coming out of the mitt.
Inside you can see the membrane. That is the waterproof backing. The outer material is all waterproof.
Maintenance is good to do. Hestra gloves all come with a packet of leather balm, and you can get extra.
Rub the cream into the glove. This will dramatically improve the water resistance of the silicone impregnated leather.
Basically you just rub your hands together as if it's any kind of cream.
I actually really dislike the arm straps. I much prefer the tiny ones.
One huge perk is the inner arm tighten straps. These stay out of the way of branches or carabiners.
Thumbs up for the Hestras!
Changing over on the top of surprise pass
Ascending Mount Hector with the Hestras. Warm, but still mobile enough to make the fourth class scrambling passable thanks to their superior grip and dexterity. Pretty good for a mitt.
Tele turns with the Hestra Helis.
Great for chilly skinning. These gloves have impressive breathability.
