The trail follows near the ridge for much of the route, which makes for incredible views, but often strong winds.

The highlight for most is the Chain Walk, a heavy steel chain bolted to the face along a narrow ledge. This is the most challenging section, and on weekends it's not uncommon for it to get backed up quickly.

Ripping down scree feels almost like skiing, and as long as you pump your feet you'll find a quick pace and easy balance. It is a bit tricky, and the speed can be dangerous. Be warned.
