There are three parking areas for Bastendorff Beach.
The south jetty for Coos Bay lies just to the north of the beach.
The Cape Arago Lighthouse is visible to the south. Unfortunately, there is no public access to the lighthouse.
Bastendorff has some very modest but workable beach breaks.
The central parking area for Bastendorff Beach is the only area with a vault toilet.
