Outdoor Project

The ultimate adventure guide

The scenery in the Klondike Bluffs is as beautiful as any in Arches.
Salt Valley Road is generally in good condition and does not require four-wheel drive.
The Klondike Bluffs Trailhead.
The trail starts out with a steep climb over a ridge.
Looking back down on the parking lot and Salt Valley.
Once over the ridge, the rock formations come into view.
The first glimpse of the Marching Men.
Climbing sand dunes.
Among the sandstone fins.
The final push up the dunes with Tower Arch peeking out from the rock on the right.
View from inside Tower Arch.
The formations around the arch are fantastic.
The scale of Tower Arch is hard to capture in a photo.
Nearby arches.
Marching Men again at dusk.
View back across the trail.
Sunset from the top of the ridge.
