Located inside Papohaku Beach Park, this County of Maui operated campground has designated sites located in a grass clearing within reach of the sound of the beach surf rolling on Molokai's western shore.

Just foot steps away from Three Mile Beach, the campground has ten picnic benches, six barbecue grills, outdoor sinks, indoor and outdoor showers, and a bathroom building with flush toilets.

Campers must sleep in tents, as sleeping in vehicles or hammocks is not permitted here. All campers must register for a permit with the County of Maui before arriving. Permits for non-Hawaii residents are $50 Monday-Thursday and $100 Friday-Sunday and holidays per adult per night. Campers are asked to reach out to Molokai Parks District Supervisor Darin Kimoto at (808) 553-4178 in advance to secure their permit.

Papohaku Beach Park Campground is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for maintenance. Campers are limited to 4 consecutive nights at the campground.
