Christina Potters Outdoor Ice Pond is an ice skating rink located in Atkinson Park, just a few blocks from downtown Ketchum, Idaho. The rink is free to use for anyone and is open for about 2 months each winter (weather dependent), from late December through mid-February.

The ice rink is nearly 2 acres in size, and is a non-refrigerated human made rink - the largest of it’s kind in the Pacific Northwest.

You’ll often find locals playing a pick-up game of hockey at the rink, something that adds to the atmosphere here.

You’ll also find a selection of skates, sticks, helmets, pucks and balance assist chairs free for anyone to use.

Be sure to stop by Christina Potters Ice Pond the next time you are in Sun Valley during the winter!
