Miners Beach is the longest beach in Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore at nearly a mile long. This beach provides sweeping views of Lake Superior and distant cliffs as well as Bridalveil Falls. This sandy beach is easy to get; it is about a fifteen-minute drive from Munising. The main parking lot is on the west end of the beach. A short walk through a jack pine forest leads to a stairway down to the beach. This is a popular location to launch kayaks. On the west end of the beach Miners River enters Lake Superior and just past the end of the sand on the east side of the beach is the small but picturesque Elliot Falls.

There is a restroom by the west parking lot and picnic tables among the jack pines. Dogs that are on a leash are allowed on Miners Beach. There are no fees to use this beach. Be aware there are no lifeguards on duty.
