Calvary Hill Park in Joplin contains spacious grass lawns, shaded tree-lined driveways, paved walking trails, and peaceful benches to sit on. However the main attraction here are the religious statues built in several different small areas of the park.

Open for day use with no fees, visitors can wander the relaxing park grounds, see some of the statues of follow the Stations of the Cross, climb the cement platforms overlooking the Japanese Fish Pond section of the park, or cross small bridges and watch the koi fish swim underneath.

Quiet, and out of the way in the small city, the park is a peaceful place to visit with a unique landscape in the multiple statues throughout it.

There are no bathrooms or running water inside Calvary Hill Park.
