Chief Looking Glass Campground and Fishing Access Site is managed by Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks and offers both day use and camping opportunities alongside the Bitterroot River. This site is, of course, especially popular with fishermen but also makes for a nice area to camp for anyone passing through.

There are a variety of campsites here, some close to the river and some not. Campers may find that mosquitoes are bad during the summer months by the sites close to the water.

There are no hookups available, but each campsite features a picnic table and fire ring. There is also a hand pump for water and vault toilet available.

Campsite fees vary depending on residency and whether or not you have a valid fishing license.

Reservations are not possible at Chief Looking Glass Campground, all sites are first come first served.
