Rock Creek Horse Camp is one of several campgrounds located around popular Lake Como. The Lake is a wonderful summertime destination offering boating, fishing, swimming, hiking and biking opportunities in addition to the beautiful mountain views.
The Horse Camp is of course designed with livestock in mind. You’ll find stock facilities such as hitch rails, stock ramp, and feed bunks here.
There are 11 campsites here ideal for tents and small trailers, although the campground can accommodate larger vehicles or trailers up to 40 feet.
Of course you’ll also find the standard picnic table and fire ring at each campsite. There is no potable water at the campground, but a vault toilet is available.
There are trails that begin from the campground, perfect for equestrian use. There is also an accessible horse mounting platform at the trailhead.
Reservations are not possible, all sites are first come first serve.
