From the Batsto Lake trailhead parking lot, follow the path past the restrooms and turn left.  Follow the Batsto Blue trail (blue markers) to Batsto Lake.  The trail make a sharp right at the lake.  The trail closely follwos the lake for .75 miles when it veres into the forest but still following the lake.

At the 2 mile mark from the trailhead, the Batsto Blue trail ends at the junction with the Batona Trail (white markers).  Turn right here and follow 2.25 miles back to the trailhead.

This loop is very easy on well maintained trails of hard packed sand and pine needles.
