This loop hike starts from the Riverton ball fields and continues into the Martins Creek Land Management area.  From the ball fields, walk twoard the Jerry Brunetti Environment Center.  Turn left and follow the paved footpath for a short distance.  The paved section ends and a forest road begins at the John Mauser trail system.  The trail has red markers.

At the top of a field, the trail will split.  Keep right and follow the yellow trail.  This trail follows a ridge all the way to Cedar Pavillon.  This is a southern trailhead for the John Mauser trail system.  Across from the pavillon is the Talon Energy Nuclear Powerplant.  Turn left at the trailhead road and re-enter the forest at a sign for the Lower Bethel Township trail system.  Follow the trail with blue markers.  This trail travel above the Delaware River and in several locations the trail dips down to the river.

The forest trail ends at a gravel path at the south end of the Riverton ball fields.  Continue straight and the path leads back to the parking area.
