The Parvin Lake loop is located in Parvin State Park.  The trailhead off of Almond rd has a large parking area across from the entrance to a gate house and Parvin Lake beach.  After crossing the road, there is a wide path before reaching the gate house.  This is the Parvin Lake green trail.  Turn left here and follow to a dam for Muddy Run.

After this point the trail becomes more narrow but wider than average.  At 2.1 miles from the trailhead, the Parvin Lake trail crosses a wide forest road.  Cross this and continue on the Knoll Trail (orange markers).  In .5 miles the Knoll trail ends on the Long Trail (red markers).  Turn right here and follow until the trail reaches a detour due to trail construction.

The Forest road trail can be accessed from here. Follow until the road reaches the Knoll trail.  Turn onto the Knoll trail for a short distance when it will reach another forest road.  Turn left on this forest road for a short distance until the road reaches the start of a finished section of the Parvin Lake green trail.  Continue for 1 mile where the trail reaches the gate house and trailhead parking.
