Fossen Camping is located off of Highway 63 about 3 kilometers up from the center of Geiranger and offers great views of the fjord from above. This is a perfect base for a few days of exploring in Geiranger. They offer both small (one-bedroom) and large (two-bedroom) cabins that all have views of the fjord. The cabins are located near the start of several trails (Løsta, Westeråsfjellet, Storsæterfossen, Grindal Sætra, Flydalsjuvet) and two restaurants outside the center of Geiranger, and they are just a short drive away from the center of Geiranger.

The one-bedroom cabins have furnished balconies, TV, Wi-Fi, a private bathroom with a toilet and a shower, a living room with a sofa, and a kitchenette with saucepans, coffee maker, and utensils for four people. Parking is available right outside the cabin. The bedroom has a bunk bed and a double bed with blankets and pillows for three people. During the high season (June 7 thru August 30) the one-bedroom cabins rent for 850 NOK (about $95) per night or 5100 (about $575) NOK per week.

The two-bedroom cabins have furnished balconies, TV, Wi-Fi, a private bathroom with a toilet and a shower, parking outside the cabin, a living area with a sofa, and a kitchen with stove, utensils, coffee maker, microwave, oven, and crockery for six people. One bedroom has a double bed, and the other has a bunk bed. There is also an extra folding bed available. During the high season, the two-bedroom cabins rent for 1290 NOK (about $145) per night or 7740 NOK (about $870) per week.

Pets are allowed for an additional 200 NOK (about $23) for the whole stay. There is a cleaning cost after departure of 200 NOK if not cleaned up by guests. Bed linen and towels are not included in the booking price, but they are available for 75 NOK (about $8) per set.
