Originally a natural viewpoint, the Ørnesvingen Overlook is now modernized with platforms and even has its own built-in waterfall falling off the viewing platform. The road to this overlook, Ørnevegen (or Eagle Road), begins in Geiranger and follows road RV63 up the steep mountainside through 11 hairpin turns. The Ørnesvingen Overlook is located 620 meters above sea level at the top of Ørnevegen.

The overlook provides views of Geiranger, Geirangerfjord, the Seven Sisters waterfall, and the abandoned farm Knivsflå. Ørnesvingen was updated in 2006 and is one of the National Scenic Routes.
