Bøyabreen is an arm of the great Jostedalsbreen. This glacier can been seen from Highway 5 when traveling north from Fjærland, but a stop for a closer look at this beautiful glacier requires just a short turnoff and walk from your car. It is about a 5-minute drive from the Norwegian Glacier Museum in Fjærland to the Bøyabreen. There is a parking lot right off the highway. From the parking lot, it is a short walk to views of Bøyabreen from the glacial lake. There is also a restaurant, Brevasshytta, at this location, which also provides a nice view of Bøyabreen.
