The Damonte Ranch Wetlands Loop follows a popular and easily accessible path around the ponds and central wetland area in this more recently constructed area of South Reno.

The green space is circled by a wide paved path, and at all times of day you'll likely find walkers, joggers, cyclists and families using the path. The wetland area is a spacious and calm pond that also acts as an overflow area following wet conditions. Taking the time to stop and look around and listen, you might see signs of birds feeding in the area, or hear a chorus of frogs hidden in the cattails.

Benches and some shade trees are placed sporadically along the path, and other spurs branch off into different neighborhoods are access other connected trail systems.

There is minimal elevation change throughout the entire course, making this a great path for families. Pets are permitted on leash. The only downside to this trail is that a short portion of it runs on the sidewalk beside Veterans Parkway.

While there are multiple access points, Damonte Ranch Park offers parking, bathrooms and easy trail access.
