The Incline Fitness Trail is an easy trail that loops beneath the trees in a forested area beside the Village Green in Incline Village.

Beginning across a foot bridge from the driveway entrance point to the Village Green parking area, the .85 mile trail skirts the Stream Environment Zone as it traces a dirt trail that heads up from the trailhead toward Incline Way before looping and winding its way back down to the start point. Along the way, about a dozen pieces of outdoor exercise equipment line the path, with the idea being an easy outdoor forested path catering to those living and staying in the area that encourages walkers and hikers to work on their upper and lower body fitness.

Green arrows near the ground mark the trail, and even as parts of it overlap with itself, the arrows clearly define the path and are easy to follow. Along the way, a few benches sit overlooking the small creeks that flow year round, and a several foot bridges offer those visiting a chance to take in the mountain ambiance from trickling water to wind blowing through the trees. Lake Tahoe lies downhill in the distance, and walkers can catch glimpses of the blue water through the trees.

Pets are permitted on the trail on leash. And while the trail is marked and numbered from the trailhead located next to the Village Green driveway on Lakeshore Blvd, there are several parking areas and access points to the trail.

There is no water or bathrooms located on the trail itself, however a very short walk across to the Village Green parking lot accesses both. Unlike local Incline Village area beaches, there is no requirement of being an Incline Village resident, and no fees necessary, to visit the Fitness Trail.
