Alpenglow Park is a new jewel in the Bend Park system. This 37 acre park offers a wide variety of attractions including natural areas, playgrounds for kids, and a fantastic bouldering area.

The large bouldering area is one of the most exciting things about Alpenglow Park. There are 3 structures with a wide variety of routes. Anyone from kids to experienced climbers can find a route that is a good fit for them.

A lot of Alpenglow Park is undeveloped high desert open space, with ponderosa pine and juniper trees. Several trails weave through this landscape, some paved and some natural surface.

The park also has a large open grassy area, perfect for relaxing or recreating, picnic tables and a picnic shelter, and restrooms.

Kids will enjoy the playground and seasonal sprayground water play area.

There is also a large off leash dog area.

Alpenglow Park is a wonderful new place so be sure to check it out the next time you are in the area!
