Prairie Campground is a lovely campground located within the Deschutes National Forest, just outside of La Pine. Paulina Creek is located near the campground and the Peter Skene Ogden Trail provides the opportunity for biking and hiking. Newberry National Volcanic Monument and Paulina Lake are also a short drive away.

The campground offers 17 individual campsites. Campsites are nice and are nestled amongst Ponderosa Pines, offering a bit of privacy. Sites will accommodate tents, trailers and RVs although the maximum site spur length is 30 feet.

Each campsite has a picnic table and fire ring. Drinking water and vault toilets are also available within the campground.

Prairie Campground is typically open mid May through Early October. For reservations and more information visit https://www.recreation.gov/camping/campgrounds/272228.
