Sawyer Uplands Park is a small neighborhood park located off Northwest Yosemite Drive in Bend. The park features a paved walking path, picnic tables, a playground and some grassy open space to relax or recreate.

The true highlight of Sawyer Uplands Park is found once you leave the paved path and follow the hiking trail to a natural area with canyon walls and a steep ravine down to the river below.

The views of the Deschutes River and downtown Bend from here are fantastic. There is a great viewpoint area with a bench to relax and soak it all in.

If you wish to explore further, you can follow the trail all the way down to Sawyer Park below located alongside the Deschutes river. Otherwise, return back to the Uplands Park.
