I'm looking forward to comments from others to get additional tips and tricks.
Ken-- good trick on using the live view for focusing... I don't know why I've never thought to do that, except that I rarely use live view.
I'd be interested to hear from folks who are familiar with long exposure settings >30 seconds. I've wanted to experiment with star trails and varied light settings... so any insight or links to useful articles would be awesome.
