Devils Bridge is an arch, which you are able to walk across, and it is a very popular hike near Sedona due to its short distance and picture opportunities. The road leading to the actual trailhead requires a four-wheel drive high-clearance vehicle, and the trailhead has minimal parking. However, there is paved parking available 1.1 miles from the trailhead right where the road turns to dirt. This parking area does require a Red Rocks Pass or a $5 day use fee. This parking area does provide vault toilets, whereas the trailhead parking does not. You can then hike the road to the trailhead, which is mellow but dusty. Make sure you bring plenty of water, as the road and trail are very exposed.

You will find the trailhead to your right off the road, 1.1 miles from the paved road. For first quarter mile the trail gradually climbs through a wash. After this, the trail climbs stairs that have been cut into the landscape to help with the steep incline for the remainder of the hike. At about the half-mile point there is an obvious trail that drops down to the left; you may follow this if you would like to get a view of Devils Bridge from below. Upon the final ascent the trail levels off and you are able to see Devils Bridge to your left. Follow the trail to walk across the arch, enjoy the views, and snap some photos. Descend the same way you came, and keep an eye out for the cairns and sign arrows to help you navigate your way back to the trailhead.
