Oak Creek Vista lies just off Highway 89A between Flagstaff and Sedona. It is a popular stop for travelers, and for good reason. The views are fantastic from the overlook, and there is even a Native American marketplace located here.

A short, ADA accessible pathway takes off from the parking area and leads to the vista. From the vista you’ll have great views out over Pumphouse Wash, Oak Creek Canyon and Highway 89A as it switchbacks into the canyon. Oak Creek Canyon is known as the smaller cousin of the Grand Canyon and is spectacular to explore.

On the way back to your vehicle be sure to check out the Native American vendors who sell jewelry and other craft items here. The Arizona National History Association also has an information booth here that is open seasonally.
